Post GoZBrush - interesting bridge between ZBrush and Maya/C4D
This looks like a pretty powerful ZBrush add-on, allowing you to swap a model or portion of a model back and forth between ZBrush and Maya or Cinema4D without having to do any exporting or importing. Looks like it'll allow you to build your model's high-level and low-level details in parallel, essentially turning ZBrush into a plugin for Modo/C4D/Maya (with other apps expected to follow).

Video sneak preview of the forthcoming tool:

supposedly its already set to go in zbrush3.5 r3

and even better I read a post that says the Maya part of the pipe is done as well.. ie export as a maya ascii file and all thats needed goes with it.

I have yet to try it but I'm installing Maya on my new PC now to give it a go.

I'll post if it works.

From what I've seen it works pretty well. One of the guys at work has used it to go back and forth with displacements and it cuts out a lot of the annoying steps you used to have to do.

yeah I knew about the displacements, but I'm more interested in the re-topology tools. I want to know if you can rewire the mesh and transfer it back to zbrush without the zbrush subdivisions blowing up.
