I used the RED/CYAN approach so I hope it works for you all.

It's all in the texturing (captain obvious here)..
I should have used a rope simulator on it to have them hang properly...
There is a no-stereo render of this if anyone is interested..

Can you guys see the stereo effect OK?
I had one guy tell me he couldn't see any depth.

When I look at it, the top portion sticks out of the screen..

It works fine for me. As with all stereo images, I find it better to zoom it to full screen and turn my monitor's brightness up.

You should ask if this guy has trouble with other stereo images - there's a small proportion of people who always have difficulty with them. (I discovered this as a games programmer many years ago. We were experimenting with 3D - one of my colleagues couldn't see the effect, and admitted he never could with stereo.)
